Float glass is heat-treated, making it 2-3 times harder to resist thermal shock and mechanical loads. This treatment causes the glass to have a specific break pattern for architectural applications.

When designing and using glass for architectural applications, there are important considerations to take into account in order to specify the ideal glass for the project. Vetriko's design team is trained to calculate the necessary performance and characteristics of glass for all types of projects. If it breaks it follows the same pattern as monolithic glass. It can become a safety glass with the lamination process. The anti-hurricane glasses are thermo-hardened laminates. When they are manufactured they must put a seal on the glass to identify it.
